Is my payment information safe with Noca? Noca is committed to your security. All production data is stored in a physically secure offsite data center. While PCI (Payments Cards Industry Standard) compliance is not necessary for Checks, all financial data including any credit card information that Noca stores is at a PCI compliant data center, under PCI controls. In addition, data resident in Noca’s production databases is being encrypted using at least 128bit keys. All access to Noca’s servers in the data center is using encrypted network channels.

    Does the user need to sign up to Noca in order to transact?

    No, it's not required. Noca's innovative user interface allows users to sign up - if they want. If not, users can simply transact as normal, with no redirect, not forced sign up, and no hassle.

    How does Noca PIN™ work?

    Noca PIN™ makes it possible for consumers to transact online using check, credit, or debit without having to type their 16 digit credit card numbers or their checking account and routing information each time they transact. Instead, they can choose to select a pin (Noca PIN™) the first time they transact - it's easy to remember, and makes your transaction experience quick and hassle-free. Consumers can then use their Noca PIN™ to safely and securely shop wherever Noca Payments are accepted.

    Are credit card transactions instantaneous?

    Yes, just type in your credit card info, and once authentication is done by our servers (which usually takes microseconds) the transaction will be completed immediately.

     

    Are my checking and routing numbers safe?

    Yes. Noca stores all production data in a physically secure offsite data center. Noca's data center is PCI-compliant and, data resident in Noca's production databases is encrypted using at least 128bit keys. In addition, all access to Noca's servers is through encrypted network channels. Finally, Noca has strict policies for access control that limit who can access data and when. Furthermore, e-commerce sites do not allow check/bank account transactions using checking and routing numbers alone; additional identity verification is needed.

    I got an email asking me to verify deposits. Why do you do this?

    Deposit verification is a simple, non-intrusive way to verify your identity. It validates the account and ensures the rightful account owner is transacting. It's a great mechanism to prevent most identity and account fraud.

    Do other organizations ask to verify microdeposits as well?

    Yes. Microdeposit verification is standard procedure in the payments industry, especially in the domain of online transactions. We are however, moving towards providing you real-time verification in our next release.

    Will I get notified once a transaction is completed?

    Yes, we will send you an email to the address you have provided us.

    How do I check for payments through Noca in my monthly credit card bill?

    Payments made with Noca list the vendor's name on your monthly credit card statement. In addition, you have the option to access our user portal for an itemized purchase history

    What if I forget my Noca PIN™?

    Users are able to reset their Noca PIN™ by going to the Noca User Portal and selecting 'Forgot Password'.
